Rooms in Roomie work like channels in Slack: a group chat for a team, a project or a client. Here is how to create one and manage its members.

Create a room

Click the New Room button at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

A dialog opens. Fill in the room details and click Create Room.

Your new room now appears in the rooms section of the sidebar.

Update a room and its members

Open the room to see its conversation. Click the Settings icon at the top-right corner of the screen.

A side panel opens with the room details and the list of members. Here you can change the room details, and add or remove members.

Click Save to apply your changes.
