These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern your use of the Roomie app (“App”) provided by Roomie Tech (“Company”). By using the Roomie app, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and agree that you are responsible for the agreement with any applicable local laws. If you disagree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from accessing this site. The materials contained in this Website are protected by copyright and trade mark law.
1.1 Licence: Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Roomie App for its intended purpose.This is the grant of a licence and not a transfer of title.
1.2 Acceptable Use: You agree to use the Roomie App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will not use the App for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes.
1.3 User Accounts: You may need to create a user account to access certain features of the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2.1 Jira Integration: The Roomie App provides integration with Jira, a third-party service. You understand and agree that the use of Jira through the App is subject to Jira’s terms and policies.
2.2 Data Privacy: When using the Jira integration, certain data from your Jira account may be accessed or stored by the Roomie App. Company will handle such data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
3.1 Ownership: The Roomie App, including all intellectual property rights, remains the property of Roomie. You shall not reproduce, modify, or distribute the Roomie App without the Company’s prior written consent.
3.2 User Content: Any content you provide through the Roomie App remains your property. By submitting content, you grant Roomie a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the content for the purpose of operating and improving the Roomie App.
4.1 Use at Your Own Risk: The Roomie App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Company makes no warranties or representations about the reliability, accuracy, or completeness of the Roomie App. You use the Roomie App at your own risk.
5.1 Exclusion of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Roomie App.
6.1 Termination: Company may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Roomie App for any reason, without prior notice or liability.
7.1 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
7.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nepal Government.
8.1 Modifications: Company reserves the right to modify or update this Agreement at any time. You are responsible for reviewing the Agreement periodically. Continued use of the App after any modifications shall constitute your consent to the updated Agreement.
