Most teams in Nepal we talk to already know they want [email protected] instead of a Gmail address. What stops them is usually the payment, not the setup. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 bill in dollars, and a lot of companies here either don't have a dollar card or don't want to fight with one every month.

That was one of the reasons we built email into Roomie. You pay in rupees, through eSewa, FonePay or Khalti, and the setup is the same as anywhere else.

This guide covers the Nepal-specific parts: getting a .np domain, what you need for it, and how the email setup works once you have one.
